Join us at the newly opened Sattva Centre
Sattva Yoga’s 200-Hour foundational training studies to core essentials of a Sattva Yoga practice. With intense study into asanas, kriyas, breath work, sound therapy, energetic movement, class structures, yogic wisdom and more. Every Sattva Yoga class is structured as an energetic and physical journey. Each class opens with a theme, a strong intention or a specific channel of energy. The theme is carried out using magnetic tools such as specific asanas and kriyas to evoke a physical response to the mindful voyage, followed by individualized breathing techniques to engage the vital energy of the body and finally working with the art of music and vibration to fully round the journey from an idea to an experience.
Sattva Yoga offers a powerful foundational training in the heart of yoga, Rishikesh. Rishikesh is the birthplace of yoga, dating back over 5,000 years ago. Every training is coupled with a spiritual immersion into the yogic lifestyle practice. Well beyond the mat, Sattva Yoga offers a training unlike any other in the US – an opportunity to study amongst the greatest masters of yoga, in the birthplace of yoga.
Each trainee will be guided through thorough study, technique and uses of the following:
- Hatha Yoga Asanas
- Sattva Yoga Asanas (asanas unique to Sattva Yoga; designed to focus specific energetic and physical healing)
- Sattva Yoga Kriyas (kriyas are repetitive movements used for physical and mental meditation)

We find it essential to give each student our individual time and attention, which is why we keep a low maximum of attendees for each training. Yoga is not something to read and regurgitate from a book or a video. It is something that must be understood, not memorized. We have designed our training program to immerse you into the physical, mental and spiritual states of yoga, so that you are not “another yoga teacher”, but a true teacher of practice.
Studying yoga in the birthplace of yoga, part of the authentic Sattva Yoga experience.
